Sony announces Bloggie Touch MHS-TS20K pocket camcorder
Sony has announced the Bloggie Touch MHS-TS20K pocket camcorder. It is built around the company's 1/2.5" Exmor CMOS sensor, records Full HD video in MP4 format and captures 12.8Mp still images. It offers a 3 inch touchscreen LCD, 32mm F2.8 lens and a flip-out USB connecter that also charges the camera’s battery. It includes a 360 degree panorama lens adapter. Priced at $199.99, it will be available in pink, silver and black.
Sony is developing a new type of AVCHD high definition camcorder which features key technologies cameras NEX-5 and NEX-3. The camcorder will also be equipped with the same "Exmor" APS HD CMOS sensor that will be used in these cameras. In addition, the new camcorder will be compatible with the "E Mount" interchangeable lenses developed for the new NEX-Series and also with the existing Alpha camera lens lineup via the special "A Mount" adapter.
Sony launches a new portable "bloggie" camera series that offers simple, high quality MP4 video and still photo shooting, as well as easy web sharing capabilities. Both, the vertical design MHS-CM5 with "pistol-grip" and large flip-out 2.5" LCD screen and the ultra-compact MHS-PM5 bloggie cameras capture everyday moments in full high definition 1920x1080 MP4 video and 5-megapixel still photos.
